The Taunton River Watershed Alliance is sponsoring a digital photography contest for its 2027 Tide Calendar and is accepting up to 5 electronic submissions from adult and teen, amateur and professional photographers alike.
We are looking for photographs of wildlife, scenery, agriculture, evidence of the area’s historic and archeological heritage, and people enjoying the watershed.
We are especially interested in seasonal images. Higher resolution images taken with your phone camera (instead of a social media app) and with the phone turned sideways (a landscape orientation) work the best with our printing format.
Photographs must be the sole property of the submitting party, and they must have been taken within the last five years WITHIN THE TAUNTON RIVER WATERSHED. See watershed MAP HERE.
The submission deadline is September 2, 2026. Submissions will be judged in September with notification of acceptances at the end of the month. Thirteen winning photographs will be featured in the calendar. Photographers will be awarded one free copy of the final calendar.
