Enjoy this easy 1-hour walk, led by TRWA member Ellenor Simmons, through the Dighton Rock State Park forest and along the Taunton River looking for winter plants, mosses, and ferns. Museum will be open at 11AM for participants to visit at their leisure after the walk. Sturdy shoes recommended. Dogs on leash welcome. Restroom available. Space is limited to 15. Ellenor brings 32 years of state parks experience to TRWA as a former Southcoast Field Operations Team Leader and Park Supervisor for the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). In her retirement, she enjoys leading walks and volunteering with our Northern Diamondback Terrapin population research project.
