Have you heard we protected 30 terrapin nests this summer? Do you know how the current drought has effected our water sampling results or the river herring? Join us at our Annual Meeting to hear more! Guided Walk- Ames Nowell State Park
Ames Nowell State Park Date: Saturday, October 15, 2022 Time: 9:00am-10:30am Cost: Member: Free, Non-member: $5 Meeting Place: Parking lot at Linwood Street, Abington, MA. Exploring the northern part of the Taunton River Watershed, TRWA volunteers will lead a walk near the Cleveland Reservoir to observe turtles, birds and wetland plants. We will scoop some water from the reservoir edge to see who lives in it. Medium hike. Wear sturdy footwear. Not stroller friendly. Restrooms available. Pups on leash welcome.
