JOIN OUR ANNUAL FUND CAMPAIGN!

TRWA’s Annual Fund is an important source of funding for our programs and outreach each year. Gifts from individuals, businesses, and foundations work collectively to provide more than a quarter of the operating budget each year.

Just in the last year, with support from Annual Fund contributions, TRWA has:

• Expanded our volunteer water quality monitoring program to additional locations;
• Worked with local conservation commissions to protect river frontage (such as the casino in Taunton; Meditech in Freetown, and the Brockton power plant);
• Begun development of a program to welcome hundreds of children and families to TRWA with new educational programs and opportunities;
• Combined efforts with Narragansett Bay Watershed communities to produce user-friendly access to indicators about the condition of the water in our rivers and streams—ensuring that our work is guided by the most current scientific research.

Your financial support will allow us to continue taking an active role with the local and statewide watershed issues.  This year we plan to:

• Upgrade our website to provide more information needed to keep members informed about science and policy, management and regulatory news, as well as recreational and educational events.
• Increase the opportunities for volunteers to participate in supporting our efforts to restore and preserve our rivers and streams;
• Involve youth, the future of TRWA, in programming and outreach.

Matching Gifts

If you’ve made a gift to TRWA, you may be eligible to apply for a matching gift through
your employer or your spouse’s employer. Many companies encourage employees to
contribute to qualifying charitable organizations. The program offers a way to double
employees’ contributions each calendar year and thus improve their communities.

office for details. Some local companies may not be included in this list, so don't
hesitate to ask them.

Smaller local companies may not be on this list. If you do not find your employer
through this search, please check with your company to see if it offers a matching gift program that will match your gift or volunteer hours to TRWA
